I FOUND IT!

My communication problem wasn't UART to TX/RX converter it was my connector through the bulkhead. Two of the uninsulated wires where touching....

Now I can movie forward

The parts I ordered near the beginning of school break I just now got now that it's near the end of school break. The plastic nuts for the valve are the wrong size, I'll see if I can find those in town somewhere. I did make some progress in a nether area which I will update in the near future. I did some more work on the communication system.

Sometimes no progress is progress.

I didn't move forward today. The signal to noise ratio is to small and the signal is to sporadic. I need to make a better environment to do the testing and I should do this is water with a hydrophone
